I would like to talk about demolition and construction industry training.  But first, I need you to use your imagination.

So imagine that you are a major property developer.  You have devised a high-rise structure with all of the very best intentions.  Once complete, it will serve people and keep them safe and secure.  It will also provide a regular source of income for key stakeholders.  

But a few decades down the line, it becomes clear that there is a problem.  The foundations upon which that once noble structure was built have been eroded and undermined.  It has lost its integrity and is no longer able to keep people safe and secure.  You have tried a fresh coat of paint and even a new facade.  But, as much as you loved that building and even though it represents decades of work, you finally have to accept the inevitable.  It cannot stand any longer.  It has to come down.

So.  Training.
